Marvin the (depressed) Robot
I finished reading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy last night while waiting at the shuttle terminal. Traffic was THAT bad and it wasn’t even Friday or payday.
Anyway, I’m not really a fan of this sort of fiction, but Douglas Adams got me laughing out loud in public (I shit you not) with this one. Never mind that I’m a million years late in discovering this wonderful series. This weekend I shall watch the film adaptation, which stars Martin Freeman and Zooey Deschanel and features the voices of Alan Rickman (Marvin the Robot) and Helen Mirren.
As for the other books in the series, I already have them on my Kindle and will read them as soon as I’m done with Dan Brown’s Inferno.
